Groveland library trustees seat two new members, approve $600 museum pass renewal. Newly elected trustees Rachel Downey and Liz Zimmerman cast their first votes as the Library Board of Trustees convened May 13. Treasurer Laurel reported the library's trust portfolio at $160,125.45, up "11 percent" since a 2025 shift to prudent-investor accounting.
The board voted unanimously to renew a Discovery Museum family pass for $600 and to have its investment advisers meet the board once a year instead of twice. Library Director Darcy said a town-meeting-approved roof project could force a temporary closure sometime in fiscal 2027, warning "I don't think we can safely be open during that time." Trustees also reviewed a draft director-evaluation form and a proposed $1,533.98 chair purchase, both continued to future meetings.
