Select Board · Meeting of October 26, 2026

Groveland's Select Board closed a rooster noise grievance without ruling on the underlying complaint. The board voted unanimously to end a dispute filed by Three Billis Way residents TJ Fennell and his wife, Allison, against neighboring Parsley Farm, directing the town administrator to send both sides a letter instead. Farm owner Stephanie said she spent over $13,000 on fencing and coop moves, with sound readings at 60 decibels; Allison called the crowing "repetitive, intrusive, and unpredictable." Select Board member Steven Baker, who made the closing motion, said "there's going to have to be a balance." The board also approved transferring the Jerry's Variety liquor license to Hari Lila LLC, heard a feasibility study on the vacant 46 Washington Street mill building that drew pushback from Kathleen Kastrinelis over development direction, and learned the town certified $1,922,384 in free cash for fiscal 2026.
